maradyddReal update coming Sometime Soon I Mean It Dammit, but for now:
After a marathon all-night drive through the desert (no, really, from 4pm to 11am) starting from Vegas,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
enochsmiles and I are safely in my new apartment in San Jose. I have no furniture yet, so enochsmiles is presently curled up on the floor of my living room, on top of some clean laundry and underneath a towel and a trenchcoat (because I am a smart hitchhiker, and always know where my towel is). I've had a nap, so I think I'll live until it's actually bed^H^H^Hpile-of-stuff-on-floortime. $sysadmin is on his way over so that we can move my books and get dinner, I'm starting work a day earlier than I thought, and once my head adjusts to the wacky cost of living increase out here, life is going to be pretty damn good.
