Slowly, it all comes together
Oct. 2nd, 2001 06:19 amLinux is not acting so mysterious any more. Perhaps I'm learning something.
I can now upload and download files to my Rio, sync my PalmPilot (though I haven't quite got PalmLJ working yet), edit Word documents (though I wanna learn more about LaTeX, and soon), mount both my FAT32 partitions (for NTFS, apparently I'm gonna have to recompile the kernel, and I haven't figured that bit out yet), and listen to my MP3 collection. If I can get a handle on video editing, CD recording, DVD playback/decryption and image editing, I may very well just wanna kill off Windows entirely.
Also: I had a lovely time in Houston, and Palmed a journal about it. I'll sync and post it once the technical difficulties are fixed ...
