quote of the day; a quandary
Feb. 17th, 2003 12:47 pm"I think it'll be the minimally evil solution."
--me, to Marc, on why the data retrieval scripting should be wholly PHP for the time being
---
It's one of Those days. I really don't feel like being here. I really don't feel like going to class, despite the fact that I am actually learning stuff; it's just one of those days where I want to hide in my house and do lots of work on actual projecty things because I can.
I have to go over to MacLean today and find out if they got the rest of my application. Well, I know they don't have it all, because Marc hasn't sent his recommendation letter yet. *bashes head into wall repeatedly* So I kind of need to find out if I'm just fucked, or what.
I'm vaguely starting to wonder if I should retool my resume and start sending applications to M$ and IBM and Google and so on, find out if they have any interest in hiring some bratty upstart computational linguist wannabe, just in case I'm hosed.
