10 things (nicked from

Feb. 23rd, 2005 08:25 am...that I've done and you probably haven't, yadda yadda:
1. Spent two weeks living in a tent 600km south of the North Pole.
2. Directed Macbeth.
3. Challenged someone to a duel to resolve an argument. (And won.)
4. Performed Mr. Wizard-style kitchen (bio)chemistry in front of an audience of IT professionals and hackers.
5. Changed majors six times. (Mechanical engineering, radio/TV/film, anthropology, creative writing, linguistics, computer science.)
6. Walked into a major government laboratory, without signing in or presenting any form of ID, and started chatting up scientists. (Okay, if you're
halax you've done this, because you were with me at the time.)
7. Roadtripped from Los Angeles to Iowa City (or an equivalent distance) with less than $100 to my name.
8. Hiked twelve miles on a badly sprained ankle.
9. Made clothing that I actually wear on a semi-regular basis.
10. Web development for a drug dealer. (He was trying to set up a legitimate business, but the operation was financed by drugs and I was paid under the table.)
