state of the Meredith
Feb. 26th, 2009 08:06 pmI have a lingering headache, but my living room is beautifully clean.
enochsmiles went on a massive cleaning spree last week for
evelien's visit, so much so that the little bit of clutter that had accumulated in the last week took only about half an hour to tidy up. I'm well pleased.
Been doing a lot of math lately, not so much biology, a little bit of programming. Anyone here especially familiar with trampolines? James Tauber has a nice little writeup on trampolines in Python, which I think I understand, though translating it to languages which don't have anonymous functions is slow going. (I suppose this is one of those instances where Javascript is an obviously good tool for the job! Oh, such a love-hate relationship I have with that language.) Anyway, I'd love to see other perspectives on the technique.
