I do apologize if I slipped off topic...
Um, to "expound" the situation, I should probably point out typical behaviors and complaints from "youtubers" that don't hold any ground.

1. "They stole my footage" is one anoying complaint from them
2. "They stole your footage" is a message I randomly recieve, usually after a friend uses footage that I gave permission
3. "Why was my video deleted and not this other one?" is one that seems to dance around all the channels.

These complaints are so commonplace in Youtube. I had no other reference to know if their claims have any ground, until I saw your article. Youtube is not a place to ask for the truth, people are not honest in there.

So my purpose for posting is to settle my nerves, I guess. Perhaps I was not discussing the very specific topic of the Orphan Act, and so I apologize. As this is the only article I have seen from this website that you are a member of, perhaps this is not the place to discuss copyrights in general. I was just reaching out in curiosity, as I have so many specific questions about copyrights that simply reading just won't do. Asking a person who can answer back is much better in finding out what I am wanting to know.

And thank you for your article and simplifying what the bill said. There were many words in there that even I didn't know (and I've been known to use words that are too complicated for many people to understand). YOu did an excellent job in clarifying all those myths that I've been seeing around deviantart (gosh, that was annoying)
