I don't know what a "compilation" is, legally, but you do and it's definitely not a bunch of wedding photos? And professional wedding photos + a bunch of amateur ones I guarantee people are gonna take aren't a "collective work"?
And lastly, are the photos not a "supplementary work" to the wedding itself?
I have no experience here but I don't think that wedding photos fail to apply here.
