Primers

IDT is actually going to send you primers at home? I thought that oligo/synthetic DNA suppliers started putting some minimal safeguards in place about 2003 - when people started to realize that you could build ebola in a few months just by ligating primers - they've done this for the 1918 flu. One - don't make synthetic genes that are building blocks for CDC select agents. Two - don't send primers/synthetic genes to anyone who's not at a biotech/academic institution - somebody who's at least somewhat accountable. Don't get me wrong, I like what you're doing, but... Ethidium bromide and polyacrylamide are bad chemicals but so is bleach. Sending people primers at home is kind of a different story in my book.
