The seltzer thing suggests the idea of putting a bottle of soda in the incubator and letting it go flat. Does this release way too little CO2, or too slowly, or CO2 plus too many other gases?
(Also you would end up with tons of flat soda :\ I happen to like flat ginger ale, but I doubt I could stomach 2L of it frequently. That's just unhealthy.)
