I didn't actually touch any of the code myself -- the SpiffChorder team put it together. I plan to tear out the keyboard-specific bits of their code and use the framework for the accelerometer-driven mouse that will be the next project, though.

Their code works great, FWIW. Open source for the win, as usual!
