oh and obviously my brain is being disjointed here... I do realise Facebook has privacy settings and stuff as far as other people seeing one's updates etc goes. I'm rambling about the fact I have a discomfort level with even that tied to something like my real name (and having a fake name on facebook would mean I might as well not, really, as LJ does as much to do with that sort of thing as I need anyway. I also suspect facebook would make it more likely someone else would post something that links me to me online so to speak
