Colin and I are still doing great, don't worry. Mark and I had another falling-out; he's been trying to pick fights for the last week, and finally picked three in a row and decided that was enough to walk out.
Disappointing, truly, but it's something I can live with. I can't say I wasn't expecting this, to be perfectly honest. Mark is a genuinely good person ... but not quite mature enough to handle the situation that he walked into with his eyes open. I hope he can find someone who can give him what he wants; I told him point blank at the beginning that I was not giving up Colin for him, he told me he could accept that, and I guess in the end he couldn't.
Colin's remark: "I understand. I wish I could be there with you. It's a bit odd having your fiance comfort you over the impending departure of your lover, isn't it?"
It's always interesting when life sits you down and points out the difference between immature men and mature ones.
wow. I find that stunning. Don't let Colin go! He sounds wonderful :D
And yeah, maybe Mark expected to change your mind about Colin and you... and got into a relationship with you for that goal. I dunno. But I'm glad you're doing good :)
