There are enormous clumps of fluffy snow falling down outside. I don't know if they'll stay on the ground, but they're starting to accumulate on top of the cars.

I still need to do that Prop 8 followup; it's coming, I just have conference reviews to finish first. But the snow is beautiful and I wanted to remember it. :)

AND I got to sit next to David Molnar all the way to Calgary! SRSLY - we had tickets like right next to each other. And it wasn't planned!

I'm kind of waiting on the prop 8 stuff. I don't really want to know about it until a decision gets rendered, as I know there's nothing I can do to affect the outcome (or there shouldn't be, in an ideal political world).

But I am hoping for a pro-gay result.

My own opinion on how the entire thing should be handled is that the state (read: the government in general, nationwide) totally divorces (hah!) itself from "marriage" and just does civil unions. "Marriage" will be defined by the marriers. A cop-out, yeah, but maybe an express train past the whole language war.
