It occurs to me that what we now need is for someone to take the soundtrack to one of these 'literal videos' and create a new video for it (with, of course, no particular constraints on its content, although it should feel at least vaguely artistically congruent). Then create a literal video for that, ad infinitum. :) (Will this series converge? Tune in next week--and every week until the heat death of the universe--to find out!)
I know, right? It's like the director was scratching his head trying to figure out what to put in next to make the video that much more awesome, and then went "Oh, I know! Ninjas!"
