I'm not sure which makes less sense, the original or this one.

It occurs to me that what we now need is for someone to take the soundtrack to one of these 'literal videos' and create a new video for it (with, of course, no particular constraints on its content, although it should feel at least vaguely artistically congruent). Then create a literal video for that, ad infinitum. :)
